Final Project

Modelling of permanent magnet synchronous machine using carbon nano tude winding carbon for size minimization a high torque application. The modern world is behind developments and industries serve to be the backbone of developments. Permanent Magnet Synchronous motors are widely used in industrial and robotics applications due to their high efficiency, low inertia and high torque. Even though PMSM have good torque, the torque to weight ratio of PMSM could be further enhanced by the use of alternative conductive materials for the windings. In PMSM the stator is wound using copper windings, this could possibly be replaced with materials such as Al winding or carbon nanotube winding to improve torque to weight ratio.
