Identified necessary corrections that are to be made on the National highway to reduce road accidents and for the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians

A detailed report with photographs, location and the necessary modifications was sent to the assigned authority at September 2017.

“Calculation of Volume of Surface Course for Road Network of NBKRIST”

Reduced levels were taken at an interval of 10m and also the levels at every cross section was taken by fixing the road width

Using the Longitudinal section of the obtained center line readings the gradient to the road network was fixed

With increase in 50mm the formation levels were decided at every section and the areas at every section and the volume of the entire network was calculated by using Simpson’s one third rule.

The final report was submitted to the Head of Department of Civil Engineering during May 2017.
