Overview: I have worked in the nursing field for 28 years caring primarily for adults and geriatric patients. I began working in nursing homes as an aide and eventually becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse. I have enjoyed positions working in multiple nursing fields including: clinic, psych, geriatrics in long term care, correctional nursing, home health, hospice, and Burn ICU. I certified in Adult and Geriatrics due to my passion for caring for those who cannot appropriately care for themselves. I enjoy working with families who are caring for loved ones and working with staff of the facilities while teaching them when possible about illness’ that the aging and elderly population have to aide with helping the staff to be able to better care for their patients.
