Performing and documenting comprehensive evaluations and pertinent treatment plans for hospitalized Inmates. Including but not limited to the ordering and analysis of Relevant Laboratory work-ups, X-Rays, Nuclear Studies, Ultrasounds, and Doppler Studies, to further assess the patients medical condition.
In Charge of patient referrals and consults to other medicial fields, including to Tertiary or Supra Tertiary hospitals
Charged with Infirmary Wards patient mental health services Physician duties assure the patient is provided with adequate Mental Health Services as an intricate part of the multidisciplinary clinical approach. Alcohol and Substance Abuse / Withdrawal Treatments in-ward if needed, or if necessary, the physician will transfer inmate to the Psych Ward.
