Project Management: Coordinate Engineering activities of discipline for manpower allocation, Scheduling, Monthly progress reports, scope changes, client coordination and approval.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Work closely with cross-functional teams to estimate required project budget, resources, and man hours. Collaborate with engineering discipline managers, ensuring funds are allocated according to spend plan and contract.

Multi-disciplinary Collaboration: Coordinate with various engineering disciplines, including mechanical, civil, electrical, piping, process to define project scope, generate resource estimates, and develop a proposal. Interface with different disciplines daily and during weekly meetings to monitor progress, and resolve issues as necessary.

Personnel Management & Training: Supervise a team of 25 direct reports, including project engineers and drafters, assigning tasks and reviewing project deliverables to ensure company standards are met. Develop and facilitate training programs and materials regarding design procedures, client and internal policies. Conduct annual performance reviews.

Client Relationship Management / Business Development: Establish relationships with high-profile clients, coordinating with key decision-makers such as client PMs to determine project scope and design specifications, as well as negotiate scope changes. Develop proposals and engineering deliverables, providing insights on necessary resources, funds, and risk.

Procurement & Vendor Selection: Issue RFPs and assess vendor proposals, evaluating technical capabilities and available resources to select appropriate vendors and administer necessary procurement according to contract guidelines.

Reports & Documentation / Financial Appropriation: Prepare various documentation, including project execution plans, WBS, technical designs, and gate packages highlighting forecasts to secure project funding from senior management.

Technical Designs: Participate in design review meetings, gathering insights from multi-disciplinary teams to determine and establish design specifications. Lead HAZOP and Constructability reviews to validate piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), 3D modeling, peer reviews, Quality checks Control Narratives and Logic Narratives and Instrument specifications for procurement.

Onsite Supervision: Oversee multi-disciplinary contractors on site to ensure field engineering, mechanical completion, start-up, turnover and closeout activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner, while adhering to contract terms. Work closely with field manager to gather insights on project progress and incurred losses on site.

Change Management: Track design issues throughout duration of project, developing and implementing necessary processes to mitigate delays. Relay information on new procedures to all key stakeholders, initiating company-wide adaptation in order to improve schedule performance, minimize costs and risk.

Regulatory Compliance: Produce permit requests for regulatory bodies, including Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA), Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), environmental agencies and building municipalities, to gain approval for project execution. Coordinate site visits and field inspections to ensure contractors are following regulations.

Safety Adherence: Function as a safety leader, enforcing compliance with safety regulations during project execution to ultimately minimize and prevent loss. Identify and report major onsite incidents through regular accident reports in order to effectively track loss and develop appropriate preventative measures.

Oil and Gas exploration: 16 + years of experience in DBM, EDS (FEED) Design, Engineering, construction, commissioning and maintenance of Instrumentation system. The major involvement in conversion Instrumentation from Pneumatic to DCS, utilizing Honeywell, Foxboro and Rosemount systems.

Heavy chemical Industry: 3+ years of experience in pre commissioning and commissioning Utilities and Caustic Chorine plant of Uhde west German design.
