BGL Gear Division:-

The organization deals with manufacturing of Automotive Transmissions (OEM suppliers) for various Indian and International customers i.e. Funk Mfg. Company-USA, DANA Corp.-USA, Carraro -Italy & India, Ashok Leyland, AL-ZF, L&T John Deere-India, Swaraj Mazda Ltd., TOYOTA, International Tractors Ltd. (RENAULT), HYVA India ltd. & Furnaces.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Ensure proper tooling of press quenching and maintain history card.

New part development on press quenching with respect of TOPOGRAPHY AND P M/C reports .

Maintain daily production reports.

Ensure the production as per control plan.

Ensure first off inspection and maintain process check sheets.

Ensure and implement safety awareness and use of PPEs by the team.

Handing Fanuc robot with CGC Furnace and Gleason Press Quenching Machine.

Maintain MTTR AND MTBF document.

To ensure and plan preventive maintenance of all equipment.

Handle emergency maintenance of furnaces.

Modification of fixture as per component and robots handling.

To monitor furnace process parameter.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

1)Gleason press quench machine modified in house.

2)Gleason press quenching m/c lower die table rocker arm found taper +0.006” after full dial rotate downside, with my suggestion we cut 1.5 mm spacer from their original side for maintain 0/0 tapper.

3)Modification in CGCF main pusher stroke auto, stroke length automatically get adjusted at different operating temperatures which can accommodate the tray dimension changes due to temperature changes and avoids any accidents.

4)In furnaces increased production to change with loading pattern and fixture modification.

BGL Furnace Division:-

BGL Furnace Division Manufactures Various Industrial Heat Treating Furnaces Like Continuous Gas Carburizer, Batch Furnace Line, Rotary Hearth, Conveyor Furnace & Endo Gas Generator etc.

BGL Furnace Division has supplied more than 200 furnaces to leading Automobile Organizations in India like Ashok Leyland, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, Automotive Axles Ltd, Sona Steering, Varroc India Pvt. Ltd, Tractor Engineers, American axle, and Timken India Ltd. etc.

Job Profile:

The Engineering Design, Installation & Commissioning of Heat Treatment Furnace is the mainstay of my responsibilities.

These includes:-

1.Designing Furnace Equipment’s: - It includes Transfer Bases, Roller Tables, Moving Rails, Furnace Casings, Quench Tank, Wash Machines, Chain Pushers, Vestibules, Elevators, Doors and all Furnace related equipments.

2.Execute installation and commissioning work of Heat Treating Furnaces at site.

3.Trials and handover to customer.

4.Close interaction with customer.

5.Prepare final Minutes with customer.

Heat Treatment Furnaces & its related Equipments which I have installed at various customer sites

are as follows:-

1.Continuous Gas Carburizer Line with Prewash, Rinse, Dry, Post wash & Tempering with options for Slow Cool, Dunk Quench & Press Quench. (Furnace capacity 480kg/hr.)

2.Endo gas Generator. (Capacity-5000 cfh, 10000 cfh.)

3.Rotary hearth furnace.

4.Universal Batch quenches furnaces. (Capacity-1500kg.)

5.SQF furnaces. (Capacity- 1000kg)

6.Universal batch hearth furnace. (Capacity- 5000 kg.)

7.Moving single / double ended charge Car.

8.Tempering & Preheat Furnaces for Batch type furnaces.

9.UBAB box type furnace.

Safe working practices are adhered to by monitoring own staff and sub-contractor.

Plant floor leveling as per machine alignment.

Documentation & Schedule Planning of Project.

Report timely and accurately and maintain any relevant project documentation.

MOM with customer.

Reporting progress work to HOD.
