A) Kochar Tea & Beverages Pvt Ltd...as Director, Experience of 8 years- family owned Portfolio handled:

1) A Startup in FMCG for Tea & Instant Coffee- Objective to develop brands PAN-India 2) To obtain all clearances, including MSME, FSSAI, RoC, Sales Tax, etc to put the Company in operation mode

3) Procurement of raw material. In the specific case of tea, achieved an extensive tasting process to perfection to enable generation of recipes to suit local & international standards. This was a high point as all products of the Company were accepted at respective levels, for both Black Tea & Green Tea in multiple flavours. Several brands launched successfully by the Company in the domestic & international markets 4) In a period of Nine months the company’s products were launched in FOURTEEN states. This included statewise local clearances, setting up a C&F network, selecting a sales tea, appointment of distributors & finally ensuring placement in retail & dealer shelf. 5) Sales & Staff comprised of 70 people with State Sales Heads reporting to me, directly. 6) Year on Year sales moved up from Rs.80 lakhs to Rs.230 lakhs to Rs.623 lakhs & exports correspondingly moved to Rs.450 lakhs.

7) Controlled the composite operation, including Procurement, Blending to a recipe, logistics, sales & collection in all states.

8) Opened up avenues for online sales in the pandemic with encouraging results Success has its flip side. In 2019, the family decided to sell its stake with all its brands & it is now at an advanced stage of negotiation.

B) P.S.Tea Industries, Coonoor, a group company with a turnover of over 40 crores, worked in close conjunction with the management for retention & addition of domestic & international clients & made headway in improving sales & also product portfolio. C) Provided the project consultancy to open & operate restaurants in Chennai ‘Chef’s Story’
