Built and sold Rose City Comicon, LLC (Flashpoint Media, LLC) to ClarionUX/LeftField Media, LLC in February 2017. Returned to Support a portfolio of events within the broader Clarion organization. Chartered with all M&A activities in the United States related to adjacent events. Primary duties and responsibilities are sales process implementation, and Pardot integrations, marketing and outreach for events, partner development, and revenue growth. Currently managing five direct and up to six hundred indirect reports, seasonally, based on events. Sales quota contribution and achievement, $7.8 million, annually. Since joining the company, increased sales by nearly 19% across all sales channels.

Developed and led Global IT function in support of Micro Focus (formally Serena Software, Inc) business objectives. Provided vision and direction to thirty direct and up to one-hundred indirect staff. Bi-annual budget planning and long-term forecasting for capital expense execution. Product Officer responsible for leading sales, marketing, events, and development initiatives for the Serena Cloud business. This included leading customer advisory boards, defining features for future releases, and developing sales and marketing campaigns for subsequent releases of minor or major updates. Led and managed Serena real estate assets, subleases, and managed related services worldwide for twenty-one offices in eleven countries. Annualized P&L responsibilities – $21.5m with a headcount of approximately 19 direct and indirect staff.

Director – Information Technology & SaaS 12/09 to 7/13

Oversaw all IT activities. Tasked with re-focusing IT on business-critical services and projects to help remove friction for the Sales and Research & Development organizations. Developed KPIs for the global IT & SaaS operations and developed a “single pane of glass” to create transparency for the business and Serena customers. Chartered with turning around the Serena on Demand (SaaS) business and reducing costs by 30% which was achieved in the first quarter while onboarding three marquee accounts.

Senior Manager - Worldwide IT Operations & Serena On Demand 8/08 to 12/09

Managed worldwide IT operations team and SaaS business. Focused on implementing operational efficiencies within IT infrastructure, ServiceDesk, R&D labs, and SaaS teams in order to reduce costs and efforts. Built and lead effort for a worldwide rollout of an ITSM tool built on Serena’s SBM product. Wrote white papers on the solutions built and maintained by IT for Sales and Marketing use.

Manager - IT Operations 7/05 to 8/08

Provided technical leadership and direction to all IT operations staff. This included infrastructure, SAP Basis, Distributed R&D Labs, and Mainframe support. Led and supported the software build process, escrow, and DR/BC for all corporate and development systems. Program and Technical leadership for ERP and CRM systems.

JAE Oregon, Inc. Tualatin, Oregon 12/97 to 7/05

Manager - Information Technology

Oversaw all JAE Oregon’s Information Technology systems, services, and employees including all remote JAE Oregon locations. Provided direction and support to JAE Electronics – Irvine, California and JAE Europe – London, England as well as providing input to JAE headquarters in Tokyo, Japan on corporate-wide Information Technology planning and project initiatives. Key projects were a fully distributed VPN across all sales offices in North America, Europe, and Central America. Became Netscreen’s (Juniper) largest customer in 2001. Implemented SAP 4.5b and 470 in North America and consolidated all data services to a centralized IT center in Tualatin Oregon with a redundant site in Tokyo, Japan.
