PROFILE

In the last 15 years I have been providing Public Relations services to companies from various sectors of the economy around the globe.

In this capacity, I had the opportunity to translate and localize several documents (ENG-PORT/PORT-ENG) for my clients, such as press releases, PPTs decks, researchs and marketing materials. I have also extensive experience in copy editing and content authoring.

I have worked for companies in the Automotive, Agribusiness, Biotechnology, Civil Aviation; Construction; Education; Energy; Sports, Finance; Infrastructure; Internet; Logistics; Luxury; Electronic Payment Means; Media (TV and cinema); Professional Services (Advocacy); Technology; Mobile Telephony; Telecommunications; Tourism / Country Brand; Consumer & Retail; Cheers; Oil and gas sectors.

I had a previous career in Journalism (Writing/Editing), in the Economics / Business editorials (mainly in Foreign Trade, Logistics and Transport sub-editorials) and fashion, beauty and luxury.

I would like to make the transition from the Communication to the Translation area, so I am applying for this job.

I am able to quickly learn existing systems and structure and identify the appropriate processes and workflows. I am always willing to learn new technologies. I have a “life long learning” mentality.
