Major Infrastructure Projects (Involved in ExxonMobil Nigeria)

1.Mobil House Capacity Enhancement Project. key risk involved work at height, impeded live utilities and building still house occupants . Workforce was average of 200 personnel.

2.Mobil Court project: Key risk and challenges included earthwork, transient workforce, work at height, underground utilities, site security and movement of heavy equipment. Workforce of 600 personnel.

3.Mobil house: key Risk- crane operation, impeded live utilities, scaffolding and working at height.

4.QIT master plan projects ; Key Risk includes earthworks, heavy equipment and cranes operations, work at height, and language barrier and high turnover of local personnel.

Krane- Grinaker LTA Construction Ltd (Client: ExxonMobil) QHSE Manager/Scaffold inspector July 2009 to September 2011

Reporting to the Company Managing Director(MD), Managed safety programs, site inspection, audits, safety controls and HR planning impact of about 20 staff.

1.Provide regular Quality, health, safety and housekeeping inspections which cover buildings, plant, equipment, services and fire arrangements, to ensure conformity with regulations and organizational policies.

Activities: Refurbishment and capacity enhancement of Mobil house(high rise), which involves demolition and setting concrete walls and wooden partitions, installation of new mechanical facilities such as AHU machine, booster pumps, and installation of, air-conditions and AC duct systems, fire protection and fighting devices (fire sprinklers and fire hydrants). Other activities includes electrical installations and wiring, application of hazardous chemicals for wood spraying and polishing, epoxy application etc.

Achievement: Mobil House Capacity Enhancement Project has achieved about 700,000 man-hours without lost time incident as at February, 2011 with Krane- Grinaker LTA Construction Limited contributing about 625,097 LTI free man-hours with average workforce of 70 workers, over 2,000 loss prevention observations and 1, 853 hazards identified and closed out.

Reporting to Company General Manager, oversee safety program for up 100 site personnel accountability, enforcing safety programs, incident management, Safety inspection, auditing and compliance.
