I was born in Cagliari, Italy, in ****, last of a family of golfers I’m the third

generation of professional golfers since 1875. My father got me to scratch player in only 3 years and pass me

on the passion for the game and the for teaching.

Turned pro in 1994 I started playing on the European Challenge Tour, Florida Winter Tour and Italian Pro Tour for 4 years then stoped for wrist injury. 26 years teaching experience, the longest periods from 1998-2005 working at the Pevero GC, Starwood Resorts, and 2005-till now at Is Molas GC with the position of head professional.

Since 2005 till 2016 I’ve been in charge for the Italian Golf Federation of the golf professionals in Sardinia. I contribute and developed lessons on video CD and tv for the Italian Golf Federation. I’ve been part of the teaching team collaborating with Chuck Cook for his golf clinics in Italy, after that I opened my own academy in Is Molas GC in 2006.

In 2010 I invented, recorded and patent a golf teaching aid, Swingcolors, a shirt that beginners can wear and improve easily body posture and swing sequence by comparing with reference photographs.

Passionate of all sports, golf, triathlon (4 times Ironman Finisher), tennis, basket. Fond of traveling, nature, art, design and music. Tradition and style were important parts of my upbringing with a British professional golfer, traits which I take pride in and which I make sure live side by side with technology and innovation.

There is no Trackman that can substitute a lesson on how to be elegant on and off the course.

I believe I am unique in how I combine tradition and technology. In part this comes from my upbringing and experience and in part it is an inherent ability I have to understand a person, how they learn and then to personalize my approach to that unique person.

Beyond my technical skills and experience in teaching, I have always worked in the resort on a 360 degree level, from taking care of VIP clients and their children to actively selling real estate. This is where my interest lies, in being a fundamental player in developing opportunities where my role as a golf pro and the trust created is a platform for helping to grow the businesses at a resort-golf course.
