BKM Capital Partners, Newport Beach, CA 07/2019 - Present

Start-up fund manager specializing in the acquisition of value-add multi-tenant industrial properties across the US. Facilitated over 150 million sq. ft. of industrial real estate transactions with over $1.9B invested into 94 properties.

Director of Human Resources

A member of the Executive Committee and reported to the COO. With a 25% growth rate in employees over the last two years, responsible for full-cycle human resources and payroll functions. BKM is a fund management firm of 100 employees with 12 locations in the Western United States.

Selected Accomplishments:

Redesigned recruiting process and brought recruiting 100% in-house, eliminated external recruiters, resulting in a savings of $500,000 annually. Reduced time to fill positions from 90 days to 35 days.

Increased diversity of staff by 25% in just 3 months by implementing a diversity initiative and utilizing new recruiting resources and diversity websites and focusing on alumni of HBCUs.
