Farmer owned cooperative with 200 farms and 40 employees making dairy products. Lab state certified for micro and antibiotic testing.

Started 12/2001 as the Quality Manager and ran the laboratory; wrote all lab procedures, sanitation procedures for plant and job descriptions for all personnel.

State certified lab with analysts checked annually and lab inspected every two years. Left this role 05/2002 to care for young children and returned in 8/2003 to fill in as General Manager while the board of directors completed a nationwide search. I worked in that role until 11/2003.

Monitored budget, set milk prices, managed sales force and state wide delivery truck route. Staffed the plant and supervised 40 personnel.

Served on purchasing team to manage and develop domestic suppliers of textiles and metal hardware, and international suppliers of finished goods. Traveled as an international auditor.
