Sr. Manager Supply Chain 07/2019 – 12/2019

Lead a team of 4 planners supporting 14 branch locations. Manage the flow of imported goods from international suppliers in Asia, Europe and South America, including 70+ domestic suppliers. Boosted LIFR for European-imported wood moulding from 90.43% (FY15) to 95.21% (FY16).

Established 13 to 26-week production plan spanning 29 assets at 6 internal converting paper mills, 3 outsourcing tolled paper production facilities and 4 co-packing facilities for retail napkin. Facilitated weekly calls with mills and outsourcing facilities to plan for outages, promotions, review demonstrated rates, and provide direction on paper-related supply issues. Made sourcing and deployment decisions to optimize freight dollars, best utilize carrier capacity, and reduce overall T&D. Created and published weekly reports for Product System Inventory (PSI), monthly Master Production Schedule (MPS), monthly beginning on-hand inventory (BOH), production attainment, and slow-moving/obsolete inventory (SLOB).

Maintained JDA master data to include sourcing records, safety stock levels, and production/deployment settings for >75 retail SKUs.

Coordinated (S&OP) process and provide balance for projected volume of ~8.8MM cases in 2016.

Created long-term (12-18 month) constrained production plans for Dixie Foodservice product lines based on available capacity. On a target of 98.0% fill rate (service level) across 8 categories, averaged consistently above a 99%, while managing inventory investments.

Orchestrated daily product deployments to supply network for 76 warehouses spanning over 17 states. Managed sourcing network and provided optimization recommendations. Coordinated launches of limited time offer (LTO) SKUs. Collaborated with network warehouse managers to understand supply gaps and ensure sustained superior customer service. Minimized operating costs, inventory investments, and out of stocks (OOS). Worked cross-functionally with transport, quality, warehouse, and production teams to drive efficiencies.

Reduced network OOS from 1.43% to 0.67% within first year as supply planner.
