Island Club Ambassador (Concierge) – I was part of our concierge team and also supervised our private lounge called the Island Club for our VIP guests. I would respond to all guest needs and requests in a timely and professional manner, and would obtain information from guests in need of assistance in providing personalized service for them. My goal was to develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of the local area. My task was to be able to provide hotel guests with information regarding location, cost, and hours of operation of local services, facilities, and other points of interest. Also to actively promote guest use of our hotel services and facilities, as well. Unfortunately my hotel had to close because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Position: Front Lobby Ambassador (Front Office Department)- Providing welcoming customer service while assisting our guests in our main lobby with their questions/requests in person or through our online system called Kipsu. Checking in guests when the Front Desk was busy, and sending amenities to our guests for their special celebration or to make it right for them during their stay. I also had the task of assisting at the convention events that were held in our conference rooms by some of our important business groups for our Events department.
