DAVID LINDLEY
PROFILE
While in the Coast Guard, I worked in search and rescue in Kodiak Alaska, Marine Science and as part of a drug interdiction boarding team. I used the GI Bill to return to get my BSN, so that I could pursue my true passion of helping those suffering from mental illness. My older brother is autistic, and I directly observed how he struggled in life. I wanted to work in a career that allowed me to be there for people like my brother. I started my career as a nurse working for an Assertive Community Treatment program and am currently a Psychiatric RN at Sharp Mesa Vista Locked Psychiatric ICU. I did my PMHNP clinical rotation at UCSD and am currently employed as a PMHNP at Psychiatric Centers of San Diego.
