Title - Development of Test Rig for Comparative study of Disc and Drum Brake under Variable Brake Pressure
Under Guidance:- Dr. H.P. Khairnar (VJTI, Mumbai) Description
Research involves the development of a test rig capable of measuring the performance of a Disc and Drum brake at variable brake pressure.
IOT interface using Raspberry pi is used for collecting the Speed of the wheel and inline Brake pressure using the RPM sensor and Pressure sensor attached to wheel and master cylinder respectively.
Data obtained on Raspbian system is used for interpretation of response to brake pedal press and evaluation of result.
The obtained result from test rig shows the variation of dynamic friction coefficient with brake pedal press for Disc and Drum brake and response of pedal press to disc and drum.

Title - Development of Design Tool for Buffer springs used in safety System of Elevator by using C and MATLAB
Under Guidance:- Mr.Parag Bhole (Victora Elevators, Mulund, Mumbai) Description
Studied the Safety System of Elevators and analyzed need to develop a software tool to design modified buffer springs with user inputs to save time in design process conforming to ASME codes.
Prepared a Mathematical model and algorithm to develop software tool using C and MATLAB.
Tested software tool and conducted a strength analysis of buffer spring using the developed software tool on Universal Testing Machine.
Implemented prepared Software tool for buffer spring design to reduce downtime and reduce cost incurred. Brake pressure Sensing tail light (Sem 6 Project) Jan 2015 - May2015
