Global Director of Strategic Sourcing (Feb 2015-April 2016)

Responsible for the development and execution of the sourcing strategies for all raw materials for this multinational company reporting to the Global VP of Strategic Sourcing, managing a spend US$700M. Accountable for delivering cost savings projects and supporting the company to deliver expected growth. Managed directly a team of 4 managers, leading a team of 16 buyers and analyst.

Developed a sourcing strategy for the top priority ingredients for Clorox worldwide(including Asia and LATAM), and executed key contract negotiations with the 4 key suppliers of these ingredients, achieving 10M dollars savings in 4 years, and reducing supply interruption risks.

Regional Director of Manufacturing LATAM (June 2011-Jan-2015)

Responsible for developing and leading the execution of the manufacturing operations guidelines and procedures for this multinational company over the 14 manufacturing and distribution centers that the company managed in 7 different countries across LATAM, and reporting to the Global VP of Manufacturing in the cleaning division; Managed a US$500M budget. Accountable for implementing innovative solutions to deliver world class results on EH&S, Sourcing, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering in each country. Responsible for developing and leading the execution of the E2E Supply Chain strategies (including Sourcing, Manufacturing and Distribution), implementing guidelines and procedures for the 2 sites in this Swiss multinational company in Cincinnati area operations, reporting directly to the VP of Operations, with dotted line responsibility to the General Manager. Supervised 11 Managers and 8 direct reports over a department of 300 operational people. Managed the implementation of Lean Six Sigma activities to drive performance across the Supply Chain organization, achieving world class results and ensuring strong leadership in the region.

Lead the Implementation of SAP at Cincinnati operations exceeding expectations to meet all business stabilization objectives.

Achieved a 15% reduction of the total cycle time to deliver products to the customer, achieved by the implementation of Lean Manufacturing methodologies with a strong focus on TPM.

Developed Sourcing Strategies and drove contract negations for key ingredients including imported ingredients from Asia and Africa to ensure supply and minimize price variability.
