1. Comparative Analysis of water quality and assessment in ground water, pond water, lake water of Hyderabad, India. {SWCP-2015-2016(B.Pharm)} Project Description:

-Collecting Different samples of water supplied throughout the city Hyderabad and Determining the quality by following protocolled procedures.

-Chemical analysis of water provided considerable insight into the health and workings of lakes, rivers, oceans, and groundwater.

-Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) for the monitoring effort. The parameters measured were the Dissolved oxygen (DO) and pH (to characterize the oxygen swings); Turbidity and chlorophyll (to monitor changes in algae growth); and Nitrate and phosphate levels (to monitor the nutrients).

-Qualitative and quantitative measurements are needed from time to time to constantly monitor the quality of water from the various sources of supply

-Physical tests: Colour, turbidity, total solids, dissolved solids, suspended solids, odour and taste were recorded

-Chemical tests: pH, hardness, presence of a selected group of chemical parameters, biocides, highly toxic chemicals, and B.O.D were estimated.

-Bacteriological tests showed the presence of bacteria, characteristic of faucal pollution.

-Water treatment was done by Primary & secondary treatment. Parameters were tested include pH, turbidity, salinity, nitrates and phosphates, TDS

(Total Dissolved Solids), TSS (Total Suspended Solids), alkalinity and chloride. 2. Formulation, Evaluation and Characterization of Polymeric Nanoparticle containing Fenofibrate. {SWCP-2017-2019(JAN)M.pharm}

Project Description:

Formulating polymeric nanoparticles containing fen fibrate with different polymers. The following type of polymers are used:

Eudragit, sodium lauryl sulphate, poly ethylene glycol, hydroxyl beta cyclodextrin. Determined the compatibility studies, solubility, freezing point, UV visible spectroscopy of fenofibrate along with the diff polymers. Studied 9 different formulas with 3 different polymers having 3 formulas each.
