Project Officer - Friends of the Nation, Takoradi - Ghana

• Met with the locals of the coastal areas of the western region of Ghana and discuss about the sustainable fishery management on how to perpetuate the wetlands and its inhabitants.

• Facilitated stakeholder consultation meeting to gather data for the development of the national action plan for the Minamata Convention on mercury.

• Impacted fishermen with knowledge in safety in fishing by wearing life jacket whenever going for fishing.
