Rainbow River, Dunnellon, Florida-Freshwater Turtle Research Assistant: February 2017-Present

● Assist in the recurring turtle population survey under the guidance of Dr. Peter Meylan

● Capture and work up freshwater turtles, Species include: common musk, suwannee cooters, Florida cooters, snapping turtle, Florida-red bellied, Florida chicken turtles, and Florida soft-shelled turtles

● Assist with x-ray pregnancy scan of female turtles Bimini Biological Field Station, Bimini, Bahamas-Research Assistant: January 2018

● Completed research task with the staff of the Bimini Shark Lab

● Performed ultrasounds on pregnant Southern stingrays and PIT tagged them

● Cared for lemon shark nursery and learned how to work up lemon and nurse sharks, including taking measurements and DNA samples
