About Employer

M/S Bhushan Power and Steel LTD (Presently Working in M/s Bhushan Power & Steel Ltd.) is a new venture of Bhushan Group. It is an integrated steel plant, having 3x130 MW + 1x60 MW + 1x40 MW + 2x8 MW power plants in operation stage, which involves Five CFBC boiler (4x210 TPH + 1x340 TPH + 1x390 TPH ),Two AFBC boiler (1x75 + 1x150 TPH ), 12 X 51.2 TPH Thermax make WHRB (waste heat recovery Boiler), 4 x 28.5 TPH WHRB Boiler Coke Oven base & Thermax Babcock & Wilcox make fourth generation, 3x130 MW TG unit supplied by Siemens, 60 MW TG unit supplied by BHEL, 40MW TG unit supplied by Siemens DDIT (Alstom turbine & VATECH alternator). 2x8 MW TG unit supplied by Siemens. The waste hot flue gas is coming from 12 x 500 TPD Rotary Sponge Iron kiln. The company is investing nearly RS. 50000 crores to develop the complete plant for above units as well as ARC Furnace, Blast Furnace, Pig Iron, 2Nos. Coke Oven, Cold and Hot Rolling Mill, WRM, pellet plant, Pipe Mill, Compact Steel Plant, DM Plant, Oxygen Plant Etc.

Job Profile:

1. Working as a Jr. Manager at M/S Bhushan Power and Steel LTD in Thermal Power Plant from Feb’2008.

In Operation and Maintenance.

DCS operations (Operation And Maintenance) of THERMAX make WHRB Boiler (4x28.5 TPH) and SIEMENS make Turbine (2x8MW).

DCS operations (Operation And Maintenance) of THERMAX make WHRB Boiler (4x52 TPH).

DCS operations (Operation And Maintenance) of IJT make C.F.B.C. Boiler (4x210 TPH) and SIEMENS make Turbine (3x130MW).

Cold Start up, Hot Start-up, Warm start up, Emergency handling, Normal Operation of plant in a safe and optimized manner.

Lube Oil system handling, Cooling Tower handling, Emergency handling and Safe shut down of Units etc. Line up of the unit and its auxiliaries, Changeover of equipment’s, routine testing of protection system and annunciation system.

Monitor plant operations and handle emergencies including shut-down of units and load throw-off to control generation as per requirement.

Responsible for carrying out the field activities for safe, reliable & optimum operation of the plant, as per laid down procedures.

Responsible for annual inspection of boiler.

Responsible for preservation of boiler for long time shutdown job for maintenance work.

Supervise the jobs related to all equipment and monitor & ensure their performance for optimum & safe operation.

Prepare, handover & co-ordinate the maintenance activities.

Ensure strict compliance of all HSEF procedures.

Ensure sufficient stock of consumables and chemicals.

Discharge duties as per the standard operating procedures. To ensure all process parameters are within operating window by checking log books & Log sheets for field activities.

To ensure that housekeeping is up to the expected standard & Plant is clean & To ensure smooth handover equipment / system for maintenance after necessary isolations / precautions & takeover the same on completion of maintenance activities, also To ensure samples being collected, sent, and analyzed as per sample schedule and corrective actions taken in time.

To witness equipment trial once it is back after maintenance & To carry out trouble shooting & minor maintenance work with Field executives whenever required and To carry out fire fighting in the event of any fire.

To carry out risk analysis for various jobs, & To co-ordinate with individual Panel & Field executives for necessary action related to plant start up, operation & shutdown & To ensure relevant check sheets filled up for major equipment’s while taking in or out of service.

Grant the extension of permits for on going jobs as and when required. & Maintain records of permits & To ensure makeup oil in the oil reservoirs of pumps, compressors & other equipment to ensure proper quality of the oil.

Maintain record and carryout checks for the IMS, BSC & such other systems & Initiate Maintenance Work Requests in SAP.

Coordination with field Engineers and Operators for plant operation and carry out field actions accordingly, and to Issue work permits for various jobs in consultation shift superintendent & maintenance crew.

Responsible for proper recording all operation related activities including Log Books, Check List, Shift Routines, etc.

Report preparation & keeping records & Ensure healthiness of F & G system, portable fire extinguishers and fire hydrant network.

Instruction to Field operators for safe operation of Power Plant.

Maintaining stack emissions and effluent discharges within the limits set by pollution control board.

Issue and cancellation PTW (Permit to Work) system, safe isolation, personnel safety and equipment safety.

Conduct ReSOP as per target & Check results of samples in LIMS, Reporting of near miss & incidents in IRIL.

Ggeneration of technical reports in MS Excel, analysis of Generation Data/ Breakdown data for BTG, Monthly MIS for O&M Site Reports.
