JOB PROFILE

Inspection and witnessing of instrumentation activities by instrument test procedures.

Experienced in inspection of instrument installation as per location plan and hook-up diagrams.

Experienced in inspection of cable tray, conduits, duct banks, tubing, cable glanding and termination.

Inspection for the installation of junction boxes, local panels, pneumatic leak test of air line tubing/impulse line tubing, insulation resistance test and continuity check for instrument cables.

Inspection for the installation of DCS Panel, ESD Panel, F&G Panel, consoles and computers with printer in the main control building.

Involved in calibration loop checking, equipment ranged from field instrumentation through DCS system. Trouble shooting of the loops from field to the DCS.

Ensuring the quality of material received as per standards and specification.

Experienced in the preparation of MAR, WMS, RFI’s, inspection checklist as per inspection test plan (ITP), quality control packs and also the loop test packs.

Experienced in pre-loop check, functional logic check, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.

Arrange/attend meeting with client to discuss issues related to Engineerig, Construction and Quality.

Review and comment/approve the work packages issued by the contractor prior to construction.

Co-ordinate with different departments to solve the Engineering, Construction and Quality issues.

Reddening the drawing, termination schedule, instrument loop diagrams, data sheets etc, as per the modifications made on site.
