• Tasks involve; Reviewing of various reports, investigations, change requests and work order request. Inspections of various equipment around site, ranging from small gaskets to large scale equipment, using various tools such as boroscopes, gloved hands, extended mirrors etc. Inspections of various products manufactured, processes conducted and task completed by operators. Safety audting and risk management. Enforcement of Good Manufacturing Practices and ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures. Assistance with FDA and customer (both internal and external) audits. Training of required staff when relevant. Particpation on the Emergency Response Team, which includes first aid. Trained and certified in deviation investigations.

The program provides students with knowledge in; Advanced environmental health, Advanced Occupational Safety and Health, education in Measurement methods and Ventilation and Advanced OESH Management Systems. The MSc. in Occupational Environmental Safety & Health (OESH) program provides a well rounded, comprehensive education in many different areas of OESH such as, enforcement of compliance, research and development, training, organisational systems and practice, policy and standards development, land use, as well as disaster management and recovery. The program also provides an in depth study into the many facets of ergonomics and its applications to the workplace. A well versed education regarding various health ailments that are largely related to occupational exposure is provided as well as an in depth look into the various types of leadership that are seen in most organisations.
