My responsibilities over the years have also included hiring, product management, overall system architecture and software development which is focused on creating modern, effective and efficient solutions

Key Achievements:

Led the Low Current engineering team in design, procurement and installation of security systems: automotive, CCTV, access control, fire alarm, public address and office network

Led the power engineering team in design and installation of Renewable systems: solar panels, controller and storage

Research Associate Ontario Tech University – Oshawa on 2019-2020

As a research associate, my task is to lead the research team to successfully deliver the final products to customers. I used the Waterfall and Agile framework to deliver the research projects.

Key Achievements:

Team leader of Power Electronics & Drives Applications Lab (PEDAL).

Contributed researches in automotive applications, electric vehicles, electromagnetic design for new transportation systems and control of power electronics.

Modified control methodology of an electric vehicle charging station.

Implemented a rapid prototyping testing technique for electric vehicle propulsion systems utilizing real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) platform.

Established effective safety case strategies and monitor the status of safety case dependencies. Produce safety case (product/generic/specific application) in line with IEC 60950 and DFMEA to ensure the supporting safety evidence is sufficient to demonstrate the safety of the system.

Research Engineer University of Ontario Institute of Technology – Oshawa on 2015-2019

My role was to contribute new safety design methodologies for Microgrid plants by using numerous states of the art technologies

Key Achievements:

Developed Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), FnHA, FnSA, HAZID, HAZOP matrix and availability models for a micro-energy grid (MEG) and proposed designs of two advanced risk modelling approaches namely Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) and Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA).

Implemented risks-matrix that consists of recorded hazards,

Contributed a Resilience Risk Performance Index (RRPI) that provides a clear informative statics tool for design engineers and decision-makers.

Performed reliability, maintainability, and availability (RMA) analysis to modify risk mitigation plans.

Suggested an optimal design and management technique for Micro Energy Grid using MILP and Interior Search Algorithm (ISA) optimization methodologies.

Developed comprehensive test plans for hardware and software parts of control systems to validate the safety and risk analysis domain.

Created Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), System Hazard Analysis (SHA), Sub-System Hazard Analysis (SSHA), Interface Hazard Analysis (IHA), Operating & Support Hazard Analysis (O&SHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA/FMECA), Technical Safety Report, Safety Management Reports, RAM Analysis, and other required analysis in the field of expertise.
