Financial management
Develop and/or monitor annual budget (revenue and expenses) with Team Leader
Ensure the secure handling of petty cash accounts, credit cards, rents, and rep-payee accounts in conformance with agency and State regulations
Quality management
Participate in Quality Management activities and initiatives, including development and tracking of relevant outcome measures, performance targets and program goals
Respond to Incidents and Complaints as per Riverside & DMH policies and procedures
II.Personnel Management
Hiring
Establish staffing level needs and responsibilities in conjunction with GLE Manager, ensuring that staffing is commensurate with service needs, within budget limitations, and in within the staffing requirements set forth in the scope of ACCS services.
Collaborate with GLE Manager to ensure timely hiring of qualified personnel
Ensure that all new personnel receive necessary orientation and initial training within the agency and program(s)
Supervising
Provide regular supervision, including modeling and observation of practice
Provide regular feedback for supervisees and engage in performance improvement and progressive disciplinary plans in keeping with Riverside policy, as needed
Complete and submit all Personnel and Payroll related paperwork
Evaluating
Establish performance goals with supervisees
Complete regular evaluation of performance as per Riverside policy
Training
Ensure that supervisees meet mandated training and certification requirements for their position and that copies are on file at the program and forwarded to Human Resources

Conduct and document at least semi-annual site inspections to ensure that assigned properties and sites are kept clean and in good repair, that fire hazards are minimized, and that all necessary and required equipment is present and in good working order.
Calculate, collect and submit rents and keep accurate documentation of rent calculations and payment
Ensure that fire drills are conducted and documented as per regulation
Perform other related duties as assigned in conjunction with supervisor
Non-essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The nature of community work and staffing patterns necessitates that management staff be generalists and must understand that at any given time they may be called upon to perform duties beyond those listed above to meet individual or program needs. Under special circumstances, certain duties may not be essential for the house manager.
Attend to routine household maintenance duties. (example: changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, yard work, installing curtains)
Provide supervision of Persons served on trips or outings of longer than eight hours, and/or up to several days.
