I was responsible for two departments whilst employed by Truworths. My duties included guiding a group of employees to complete projects, as well as for developing and implementing a timeline for my team used to reach the end goals, which were the sales target allocated to me. To ensure that my goals were reached, I had to delegate tasks to team members, including myself. Whilst employed by Truworths I always met and exceeded my sales targets.

As a dedicated employee of Truworths, my daily duties included giving excellent customer service at all times, as well as boosting sales figures and obtaining new accounts. I was also responsible for keeping merchandising up to date and well displayed. My duties included but were not limited to the following-
I maintained two large departments on my own.
Was responsible for pulling the stock from the stock room and tagging the items without damaging the garments or merchandise.

Responsible for greeting customers and answering all phones in a pleasant and polite manner, this includes taking down and delivering messages accurately and timeously, as well as handing out correspondences as required.
All creditors and debtors filing, as well as creating files and keeping them up to date on a regular basis.
Allocating debtor’s invoices against creditor’s invoices, working out whether the company had made a profit/loss, and relaying these figures to the Director in the prescribed manner.

I was responsible for buying material for jobs, ensuring I got the best possible prices in the shortest time frame. Keeping track on materials ordered as well arranging for couriers, locally as well as internationally.
All workshop administration and reception duties. Keeping the front area clean at all times, and more recently ensuring everyone is sanitized upon entering and getting properly screened.
I was responsible for all stationary orders and all other daily items the workshop and office required.
Keeping track of the workshop guy’s daily time’s sheets, ensuring they clocked in correctly and fixing any errors that may occur.
Ensuring all materials for jobs were properly labelled with the correct job numbers for easy use, and many other ad hoc duties.

The Company has closed down due to the owner emigrating.
