Assist in review and approval of shop drawings, builders work layout and MEP coordination drawing, and follow the same during the inspection.

Follow site progress and ensure that HSE and quality standards are being followed.

Conducted in-depth inspections of plumbing, drainage and HVAC installations.

Evaluate work completed and issue approvals or disapprovals of permitted work.

Assist Sr. Mechanical Engineer in studying various cases for replies of RFI.

Attend site coordination meetings to discuss contractor's submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, and construction-related matters.

Inspect the work done by the contractors to ascertain that work is executed in accordance with the Contract Documents and accepted with the local practice.

Extend the maximum possible effort to avoid contractors claims for cost and time variations.

Conduct regular (daily) site visits and supervise, verify the installation of all Mechanical works ensuring compliance with the contract documents.

Verify the accuracy of the contractor’s “As-Built” drawings reflecting in details the as-built conditions and as per the site executions.

Mechanical Engineer ( January 2017 – August 2018 )

Pre-opening:

Successfully installed and commissioned Chillers (02 nos, Carrier 185 TR each) and its piping network.

Testing and commissioning of more than 100 water features.

Did testing and commissioning of a massive swimming pool with a capacity of over 3500 m3, with heating cooling system, automatic chlorine dosing system, ph controllers, sand filters etc

Testing and commissioning of potable water system in Cluster compound and 39 villas in Reef Resort.

Double checking the scope of work and clearing up WIRs (work inspection request) for final handing over and payment to subcontractors.

Attending and leading prep meetings with sub-contractors and construction manager / Chief engineer to define scope of work and set method of statement.

Responsible for all ACs (package units, DX units, LG MPS System), exhaust system of kitchen hoods, kitchen and laundry equipment, potable water system, more than 100 water features in 102 rooms 02 swimming pools.

Taking care of design issues with pump rooms and other auxiliary systems, proposing solutions to Chief Engineer and further execution.

Installation of HVAC system (high-pressure double wall ducts, installation of VAV, Fans, Fire Dampers, etc), fire fighting system, chilled water circulation system (pumps, gate valves, check valves, triple duty valves etc.)

Co-ordinate with sub contractors to release materials and ensure timely installation as per specified standards.

Co-ordinate with other engineering disciplines on all aspects during the development of the work, to ensure confirmation of the design requirements.
