DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN PAINTING/COATING

Preparation of QC documents and checking all materials before using.

Inspection of climate condition prior to start blasting & painting.

Inspection of blasting equipment is calibrated according to standard.

Inspection of blotter test prior to start blasting with required pressure according to standard.

Inspection of air pressure during the blasting with Hypodermic needle gauge as per standard.

Crew supervisor & Applicator Qualification & JCC card verification.

Inspection of surface preparation of various items as per client & specification requirement.

Inspection of degree of roughness and degree of cleanliness as per International standards.

Inspection of coating equipment and verifying calibration certificates.

Inspection of paints manufacture date and expiry date as per standards.

Inspection of mixed paints considering sweet-in time if applicable & also pot life.

Inspection of pressure of air spray or airless spray gun that it covers the requirement of manufacturer or not.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES IN FIREPROOFING

Inspection of Material to be used shall be approved by Saudi Aramco.

The Construction method statement shall be reviewed and approved by client prior to commencing the work activities.

Verifying the Release Documents from Painting & mechanical prior to start Fireproofing activities.

Inspection of equipments is calibrated according to standards.

Inspection of material manufactures date & expiry date and the storage as per standard.

Local areas adjacent to applications are to be protected from fireproofing over spray.

Inspection of surface preparation as per standard.

Inspection of installation of nuts & touch up paint prior to start wiremesh installation.

Inspection of key coat application.

Placement of wire brush shall be checked for spacing and over lapping respectively.

Proper measuring device shall be used to check the volume of water added to the mix.

Inspection of In-process application of fireproofing & checked the minimum thickness is achieved.

Inspection of curing as per the standard.

The trowel finish shall be visually checked for uniformity & checked the silicone sealant at all steel termination

Final inspection.

In final Inspection any damages found it will rectify as per the repair procedure.
