PROFILE

It is my responsibility to insure that we have sufficient stock at the best price and quality available from local as well as international suppliers for all three our branches.

It is essential that I provide daily and monthly feedback to our Managing Director, Directors and HOD’s to insure that everyone is up to date regarding any changes on ETA dates for local deliveries as well as Imports. This will insure that alternative plans can be put in place for production to continue.

All suppliers must comply with our company standards as per South African ISO and FSSC regulations. This is monitored by requesting that all suppliers complete a Supplier Pre-Assessment form after which I will do an evaluation of all information provided and if the Supplier is approved, they are added to the Approved Suppliers list.

.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS

Sourcing and comparing price(s) on packaging material from as many Suppliers as possible to insure we get the best price(s) available to us.

Insuring that we have more than one Approved Supplier on all raw material(s), packaging material(s) and consumables to insure that our Production does not stand still due to a Preferred Supplier not being able to supply us.

Supplier Monitoring is done on a monthly basis and Suppliers are being rated for the following. 1. Response time on emails when placing an order, 2. Delivery on ETA dates as requested, 3. Service delivery and 4. Timeously receipt of all documentation i.e. Invoices, COA’s and Credit notes.

Daily tracking of all Imports to insure that all Team members are informed of ETA dates and any other issues that have occurred with a shipment. This allows the whole Production Team to make alternative plans as needed.
