EXPERIENCE & ACHIEVEMENTS

Controller managed accounting department through transition to a new ERP system (Quickbooks to Workday). Restructured accounting department to add a centralized collections team and hire key personnel to report to Assistant Controller. Coordinated and processed year-end 1/31/2019 and 1/31/2020. Acted as lead liaison for external audit (E&Y). Acted as US accounting liaison with parent company in London. Managed Shared Services for US. Financial statements prepared and presented based on revenue from contracts (ASC-606). Reported to CFO.

Directed all accounting functions of the organization including monthly close of Financial Statement Preparation / Consolidation / Presentation. Directed all Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Cash Management and Forecasting, Annual Budget, External Audit and Financial Analysis Reporting. Revenue recognition ASC-606. Financially supervised six Division Controllers including two in Mexico. Acted as financial liaison between division operations and Investment Holding Company. Reported to CFO. Acted as lead liaison for external audit (PWC).

TydenBrooks Security Products - Assisted client with prep work for year-end audit at corporate office.

Bridge Investment Group - Assisted real estate client with software conversion and stream-lined processes.

Directed all accounting functions of the organization based on Revenue Recognition ASC-606 including Financial Statements, Payables, General Ledger, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Finance Integrations, Payroll, and Fixed Assets. Directed 5 reports in department of 32. Reported to CFO. Maintained peer relationship with Treasury and FP&A. Prepared monthly financial presentation to CEO / COO.

Directed financial / operational support for 4 business units (Pacific NW, Great Lakes, Texas and Virginia) to include monthly ‘deep-dive’ on key metrics to analyze and present financial performance to executive management. Acted as liaison between corporate accounting and business unit operations. Reported to CFO.

Managed / directed 3 states (AL, MS, LA) project management over telecom build-out. Acted as direct liaison supporting AT&T Area Director and Project Managers over construction. Directed Construction project management using percent completion method of accounting for 5,000+ projects. Created, developed and advanced region finance department shared services for 3 states. Project managed detailed Cost Accounting – managed through milestone analysis. Reported to CFO.
