I worked in Quest Global Engineering private limited as Senior Design Engineer and deputed in Caterpillar, Bangalore later shifted to Chennai, with the Project of VDRA (Virtual Design Review Audit) and TDM (Top down Model) built support for the whole package of Genset.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Working in Creo and have good knowledge on its Internal Modules, with basic knowledge of NX.

Working on Multiple Internal Databases of Caterpillar Such as HVC, Creo, Teamcenter Engineering, Teamcenter Vis Mockup, SAP, Wind chill etc.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

To assemble the JT model in the proper location by referring the drawing in the Teamcenter visualization Mockup

To download the JT model from the Teamcenter as per the price list given.

To do VDRA with the Pricing Arrangement (PA) and found out the interference between the JT model and capture it.

To fix the model issue with the help of Creo and upload in the database to get the perfect JT in the required location.

To create Compatibility matrix between the PA’s and look which is compatible as per the customer requirement, as Generator has many optional attachments as per the customer requirement.

To co-ordinate with the On-site engineer for the issue’s rectification.

To Maintain the BOM of Gensets Group & Arrangement in Siemens Teamcenter.

To do checking for KEC model and drawing as per the standards with Creo and Windchill tool.

To do maintenance ECO Creo support work for KEC Engine models.

To create Change Notice & Capture the changes in the details of the Notice and upload through BNU, the updated Notice will be reflected in the HVC.

The part will go through the GEC (Global Engineering Change) workflow process, where the part will be pasted to a CN (Engineering Change Notice) and will go for the review to the Engineer, for Checking and to the releasing.
