It includes the upgrading of the screener and scale lanes on both the N1 North and South Bound as well as the upgrading of all the electrical equipment and programme software. Resident Engineer for the installation of a Bulk water steel pipeline from the Edenpark Reservoir to Palm Ridge Ext 9

The Project consists of a steel pipeline combined with a HDPE pipeline to provide water services to Palm Ridge Ext 9. The bulk water pipeline is being laid from the Edenpark Reservoir to Palm Ridge Ext 9. The total length of the pipeline is 3,5 km’s crossing numerous existing services such a Transnet pipelines, Rand water pipelines and the crossing of public roads. The estimate construction value is in a region of R15 000 000.00. Involved 15 person – months

(September 2012 – March 2014).

Resident Engineer for the installation of civil infrastructure at Palm Ridge Ext. 9 for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 Contracts

The Contract entailed the construction of internal sewer and water services together with the BOHOFF,PAUL

construction of toilet top structures for 1657 stands also the relocation process of the approved beneficiaries.

The estimated construction value for both these phases are approximately R 35 000 000.00. Involved 17 person – months and still present. (May 2011 – November 2012)

Technical Assistant on a SANRAL project for the National Route N12 –Section 19 Jan Smuts/R21

(km 9.6) to Tom Jones (km 19.3)

The Contract entailed and included in the portion of the Section 19 corridor allocation are four interchanges – one of which being a system interchange and the other three being access interchanges. From west to east they comprise of the Rietfontein, Rondebult, Atlas Road and Tom Jones Interchanges. These are busy interchanges, carrying traffic serving suburban, industrial and recreational areas. The Contracted consisted of a dual carriageway freeway that runs in an east-west direction. It is a highly-trafficked route linking areas such as Benoni, Brakpan, Boksburg and Germiston with Johannesburg to the west and Witbank to the east. It stretches between a point just west of the Rietfontein (Jan Smuts/ R21) interchange at approximately km 9.8 and to a point just east of the Tom Jones interchange at approximately km 19.5. The Estimated construction value was R 720 000 000.00. Involved 20 person – months.

Design and Resident Engineer of a sewer reticulation network at Mandela Village nearby Hammanskraal

Design Engineer and Resident Engineer. The project entailed the design and construction supervision of the sewer reticulation to service 1215 stands (including 540 manholes), pipe jacking beneath the N1 highway and the compilation of record drawings. Construction took place in an existing township.
