Slug Catcher separates natural gas from hydrocarbon liquid and produced water.

The slug catcher provides a surge volume that minimizes the disturbances to gas export

Inlet separator:-

Wet gas from slug catcher is fed to the Inlet Separator, to separate entrained liquid particles from gas.

Inlet Separator is a vertically oriented pressure vessel, provided with a high efficiency vane pack style mist eliminator designed to separate 100% of all liquid particles of size greater than 10 micron from gas, to the extent of 0.1 US gallon / million SCF.

Coalescer Filter:-

Sales Gas Heater:-

Gas is super heated in a Sales Gas Heater to keep the gas temperature 11 C above its Dew Point

Engine Driven Reciprocating Compressors:-

Oil & Condensate stabilization Unit

Oil & Condensate separated from Slug Catcher and entrained liquid from Inlet separator & Coalescer filter is processed in Oil & Condensate Processing/Stabilization Facilities.

Oil/Condensate entering the Oil & Condensate Processing Facilities is first pre-heated in a shell & tube type Feed/Product Exchanger to recover heat from the hot stabilized product going to the storage.

Pre-heated Oil/Condensate feed from Feed/Product Exchanger is then heated in a Double Pipetype HC Heater to the desired stabilization temperature prior to flashing in 1st stage Separator. HotOil is to be used as heating media.

1st Stage Separator is a horizontal 3-phase separator which operates at 50 psig. Flashed gases from the 1st Stage Separator are routed to the fuel gas system or flare system through a split range control. The liquid from the 1st stage separator is routed to 2nd stage separator for further processing.

2nd stage separator is a horizontal 3-phase separator operating at around 6 psig. Condensate from the 1st Stage Separator is flashed again at 2nd Stage Separator and ensuring a RVP is less than 10 psia. Separated oil/condensate is routed to the Storage tank.

Effluent Water Treatment System

Produced water separated in the Slug Catcher and Oil & Condensate Processing facilities will be routed to the Produced Water Treatment System to achieve the desired quality of 10-ppm oil in treated effluent water.
