Has completed multiple Projects for Hospital (OSHPD), Healthcare, Pharmaceutical (cGMP), Biotech, Commercial, Industrial, Educational (DSA), Microelectronics and Hospitality Industries.
Acts as the main point of contact with the Owner's Representatives and Design Consultants. Maintains a working relationship with the Project Team from the initial job interview, throughout the Preconstruction process, to job closeout and beyond.
Directs and actively participates in the development of Estimates, Value Engineering, Bid Package Preparation, Subcontractor prequalification and selection, and the establishment of the GMP.
Primarily responsible for assembling, directing, managing, and motivating the staff of Mechanical, Electrical, and Architectural Estimators for the duration of the Preconstruction effort; from RFP through GMP and beyond.
Prepares Assumptions and Qualifications at each level of the Estimates. Documents and details what was assumed when work is not yet shown, or not completely shown in the Plans and Specifications.
Performs Constructability reviews throughout the Design Process to preserve the Budget, avoid Claims, and maintain Project design goals.
Estimates self-performed carpentry and concrete packages.
Experienced in developing custom Excel templates. Regularly uses On-Screen Takeoff, and Sage- Timberline Estimating. Also have some experience with MC2

1. Omnia Nightclub - Las Vegas - Complete refresh and expansion of the existing PURE nightclub at Caesar’s Palace. The Nightclub nearly doubled in size by the inclusion of a new Second Floor. Total area 75,000 sf. $40,000,000.
2. Walker Furniture – New Retail Store, Site Development, and future Tenant Spaces. This Project is ground-up new construction; Retail Store is structural steel and bar joists, with tilt-up concrete exterior.

3. Burger King – re-branding of existing 3,200 sf restaurant. Work included: total replacement of exterior skin, replacement of roof plywood and roofing membrane, new sidewalks and landscaping, remodeled existing kitchen, dining area and bathrooms. $525,000. 4. El Cortez Hotel Tower - Remodel Two Room Units, Corridor and Elevator Lobby, on the 2nd Floor. These will establish the standards for the future remodel of the 12th, 14th and 15th Floors. The Owner requested Value Engineering idea goal of $40,000, I found over $60,000. $270,000 Health Care
1. Kaiser Vacaville – New Hospital and Central Plant – New template Hospital and Central Plant, on an existing Kaiser Campus. This Project is multi-phase, keeping the existing Medical Office Building operational during the installation of the new Buildings. Hospital 337,825 sf. Central Plant 29,315 sf. $200,000,000. 2. El Camino Hospital – New Main Hospital (Mountain View, CA) – Replacement Hospital and remodel of existing Medical Support Facilities. The replacement Hospital is 450,000 sf, and the remodel is 100,000 sf. The Project is multi-phased and keeps the existing Hospital in operation 24/7. Total area 450,000 sf.

1. National Semiconductor FRC 8” Development Fab (Santa Clara, CA) - Converted existing office space into a new Class 1 Clean Room, within an existing Office Building. The Project included a new Gown Room, Bulk Chemical Storage and tool hook-up. Construction was performed on a 24 hour per day, 7 day a week schedule, all with minimal noise and .vibration. This Project involved preconstruction services, and bid package preparation. Total area 28,000 sf. $32,000,000. 2. Intel P-856 Ramp, Building D2 P1, P2, P3 (Santa Clara, CA) - Upgrade an existing and fully operational cleanroom for the newest Pentium wafer line. Nearly all the work is being performed under protocol of Class 1. Construction will be done Bay by Bay as new tools arrive. This Project involved preconstruction services, and bid package preparation. Total area 30,000 sf. $15,000,000. 3. Western Digital Phase II Clean Room Expansion (Fremont, CA) – The expansion of 10,000 sf of Class 10 Cleanroom into an existing office space. This Project includes 480 lf of new trench, new MEP, new Substation, and rerouting of exiting; all while surrounded by on-going Manufacturing and Office. 17-week schedule, 3 shifts per day installing in-place an average of $650,000 of improvements per week.
