Juvenile and DomesJc RelaJons Secure Viewing System (JSVS) Senior Java/J2EE Developer

Juvenile and Domes<c Rela<ons Document Imaging System is an applica<on to access case doc- uments outside the courthouse and aQer the court hours for the court clerks and proba<on of- ficers. As the juvenile records are sensi<ve the search is not made public., instead a site to site VPN connec<on is established in order to access the applica<on from a different loca<on thus making it more secure. The phase 1 of the project involved case search based on the base num- ber and display the case details as PDFs on the browser. The case details are stored as BLOBS in the informix database. Upon successful deployment of phase 1 in fair fax county courthouse, this applica<on was deployed over mul<ple courts in Virginia. The phase 2 of the project in- volved search based on names which requires access to web services, scan documents from the browser using dynamic web twain and update it as BLOB in the informix database. Discussed with court staff division users to determine func<onal requirements, analyzed, came up with architecture strategies, designed and implemented solu<on to the user needs.

Designed, developed and supported highly secured Java / J2EE web applica<on using a site to site VPN connec<on in order to access the applica<on from different loca<ons.

JDIS is the imaging soQware that is used to access juvenile case informa<on statewide by magistrates, judges, clerks, court staffs etc., Case details are stored and accessed as BLOBS in DB2 database. This phase of the project involved in exposing SOAP interface for the users to access the case informa<on.

ResponsibiliJes:

Analyzed the legacy code and came up with a migra<on plan.

Worked with JCMS team to test and troubleshoot issues with the webservice.

Implemented the webservice layer on top of the legacy code.

Performed regression tes<ng to ensure the legacy func<onality, unit and system tested the web service layer to ensure highest quality.
