Hillenbrand is a global diversified industrial company with businesses that serve a wide variety of industries around the world. Hillenbrand acquired Milacron in November 2019.

In charge of a cross functional integration team reporting to the CEO. To ensure seamless integration, Hillenbrand set up an integration program in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG) to:

-Design and implement detailed operating and organization models

-Define people and financial baseline

-Identify synergy initiatives and track progress

-Develop and execute communications and change management plan

Milacron

Chief Audit Officer, USA (2015 to 2019)

Milacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing market.

Joined the company pre-IPO to set up the Internal Audit department and prepare the company for SOX compliance. Led the company through successful IPO in 2015. Part of the core team managing Milacron’s merger with Hillenbrand and headed Milacron’s cross functional integration team.

-As a founding member of the audit department at AES, wrote audit procedures and policies manual and helped establish standard operating procedures

Business Development Manager/Controller, Qatar (2001 to 2003)

AES Ras Laffan is a 820 MW combine cycle and 40 MIGD power and water desalination plant. Joined the Business Development team prior to the financial close to complete the conditions precedent for securing the construction loan. Subsequently, responsible for running the accounting department; maintaining accounting books for three AES subsidiaries in Qatar and UAE; preparing management accounts and financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP; and interfacing with company’s lawyers, bankers, and external auditors.

-Secured a $572 million syndicated loan

-Set up the accounting function from scratch which included implementing the chart of accounts, accounting system (Great Plains), and external and internal management reporting process
