WORK EXPERIENCE – DETAIL

1. JOB RESPONSIBILITY @ EDAC ENGINEERING LIMITED

Supervision of erection testing and commissioning activities of electrical equipment viz., switchgear, power transformer, protection relays, CT, PT, Substation control and monitoring system, LVAC system, DC system, power & control cable, lighting distribution Earth mat etc.

Complete cable schedule checking as per design with BHEL and knowing of pre testing and charging activities.

Complete testing of panel bus bar tightness checking witness with customers.

Commissioning of drive like HT/LT motors, breakers, panels & (DG) charges and trail run activities to be obtained in starting process in both project.

Feeder commissioning relay setting updates in LTMR Schneider and Siemen’s sip Rotec (7SJ66) and Siemens relays ( numerical 7SR1 102,1205).

Scheme checking of panels like GRP, GCB, BTS,HT, LT and also breakers (ACB/VCB) different manufactures like L&T and C&S.

Function & operation of panels in auto close, change over, remote commissioning and interlocks.

Trouble shooting in electrical circuits and feeder DOL, RDOL starter and on/off module etc..,

CT primary injection & motor stability, transformer stability.

AC high voltage test for HV and LV switchgear cables.

End to end for feeder protection.

Responsible to ensure the defective material while testing and returns the materials.

Co - ordination with client in As Built scheme submission and test report.

Preparation of energisation procedure, commissioning checklist etc. and resolving ambiguities between client & contractors for smooth execution of the project.

Ability to work with a team dedicated professionals and individual for executing the task safety and efficiently in a defined time frame.

Knowledge of usage of electrical equipment in hazardous area of safety codes and standard applicable in power plant.

2. O & M RESPONSIBILITY PERFORMED IN PROJECT 1 & 2

Maintenance and Trouble shooting of breakers, panels LT/HT up to 11KV and outgoing feeder.

Routine maintenance on the circuit breakers, compressor, V F drives.

Reading taken for running plant for monitoring and preventive maintenance.

Cold start up hot start up warm start up normal operation emergency handling and safe shut down of units.

Line up of the unit and its auxiliaries changeover of equipment routine testing of protection system and annunciation system.

Plant stoppage & Plant Startup Activity and then plant shutdown time to co-ordinate with maintenance activities.

Fully familiar with the ‘’permit work ‘’ system, Isolation and Return to work permit procedure. TEAM‘S AND EQUIPMENT HANDLED IN PROJECT 1 & 2

1 Senior Engineer, under 5 technicians to execution of work as per senior instruction.

Assist to technicians for testing and equipment’s, up to work under team 5 members at a time.

Equipment ‘s handled in hand Megger up to 5KV, Multimeter, CRM kit Hi-POT kit (up to 75 KV AC/DC) Clamp meter, Galvanometer Phase sequence meter and omicron kit. INPLANT TRAINING & WORKSHOP
