ACHIEVEMENTS
Master of Arts in International Studies,
Christ University 2018-2020
Bachelor of Arts in Journalism Honors,
Christ University 2015-2018
GEMS Education Our own Indian School,
Dubai
International Studies provided me the expertise and skills appropriate for a range of public and private sector careers where an advanced knowledge and understanding of
contemporary international societies is integral to their work. The Department of International Studies, Political Science and History in consonance with its mission statement is committed to groom socially concerned and politically conscious citizens and effective public policy experts. The Department is committed to create an
atmosphere for the teaching and research of the complex forces that determine the shape of the 21st century on politics in all its magnitudes; national, international, comparative, theoretical and empirical. an inter-
disciplinary programme; students integrate and apply knowledge across disciplines in order to analyze global issues and problems. It equipped me with analytical and critical skills to understand contemporary international politics and prepared me for a range of professions that require knowledge of international affairs.
The Journalism Honours programme is a three year
programme, having Political Science and Economics as allied subjects with non core subjects Political Science and Economics. The field of journalism is seeing a great many changes in recent years. With globalization there has been exponential growth of educational institutions offering Journalism as part of their curriculum. This has
unfortunately led to the setting-up of umpteen arbitrary institutions offering journalism without adhering to quality norms and standards which enabled me to have a sound grounding in the various aspects of journalism- theoretical and practical. The course trained me to become a journalist to define communication, help create a common understanding rooted in reality and as a
professional.
GEMS Our Own Indian School follows the CBSE (Indian) curriculum and is proud to be recognised by the Ministry of Education, Dubai, and affiliated to the CBSE Board in New Delhi. The Indian curriculum we teach at GEMS Our Own Indian School is internationally recognised, and prepares our students to go on and study in some of the most prestigious universities and colleges around the world. I pursued the following subjects during my higher secondary education namely Business Studies, Economics, Home Science, Psychology and English.
