Medical Industry Sales Preceptorship

Took the initiative to spend time in the field with a Specialty Sales Rep from TherapeuticsMD selling Imvexxy (vaginal estrogen therapy insert) and Bijuva (first and only FDA-approved Hormone Therapy combining bio-identical estradiol and progesterone) to OBGYNs, gynecologists, urologists, and urogynecologists. Observed a “lunch & learn” program and gained insight into the sales process, territory management strategies, physician relationship-building, and sales call planning.

Sales Representative – WYNDHAM DESTINATIONS (downsized during Covid outbreak) Sevierville, TN • 01/2020 – 04/2020

• Served in an extremely challenging frontline sales role (100% commission), selling vacation ownership packages at the Club Wyndham location in Sevierville. Completed an intensive 2-week sales training on messaging, sales strategies, recognizing customer body language and buying signals, overcoming objections, and closing techniques.

• Led 2-hour sales presentations with potential first-time buyers and exceeded expectations by closing 3 deals in 4 weeks including one deal valued at $18,900 and two others valued at $22,500 each.

Assistant Sales Consultant – TUPPERWARE Oak Ridge, TN • 2018 – 2019

• Worked directly with an independent sales representative on marketing and new lead generation by creating and administering social media accounts and regular posts to generate interest for new products.

• Represented the company to customers during sales events by explaining the features, benefits, and unique advantages of different Tupperware products. Additionally, responsible for assisting customers with order placement.

Trade Show Sales Representative – SAUTER TIMBER Oak Ridge, TN • 2018 - 2020

• Represented Sauter Timber (the first wood component joinery service in North America) at industry-specific tradeshow events to generate new leads and promote the company’s high quality, precision cut wood components used globally for specialty built homes and timber frame structures.

• Interacted extensively with building contractors, engineers, and architects to answer questions about the quality and craftsmanship of wood products and using Sauter Timber’s outsourced joinery/machining services.
