Project Name: SYNAM (Syndication Account Management) Development & Support

Client: Wells Fargo Bank, United States

Duration: Feb 2017 – Till Date

Project Description:

Wells Fargo acquired part of GE Capital business. As part of this acquisition, GE Capital’s IT systems need to be migrated to Wells Fargo in a lift and shift mode. On a high level the activities that are required for completing lift and shift are – Data Center setup, Application setup in non prod environments, Database setup and Migration, Integration with existing Wells Fargo Apps, SIT and Business Testing, Go Live and production support post Go live.

Role

Requirement gathering from the Wells Fargo business and accounting team; Feasibility analysis; Write up ETL architecture documents; Develop/review technical specification documents.

Maintenance, enhancement of SYNAM data model; Database management

Actively involved in SYNAM data mart and application server setup in prod and non-prod environments, NAS drive, data conversion, Autosys batch jobs.

Actively involved and supervised System and integration testing (SIT), User acceptance testing and Go-Live.

Onshore – Near shore – Offshore coordination, Team management. Co ordination with other Well Fargo IT team, status reporting to IT/business

Role

Requirement gathering from the GE Capital treasury business, feasibility analysis and writing technical documentation

Worked as data architect, data modeller, Informatica administrator and infrastructure lead during the build phase of OFSAA

Joined production support team after OFSAA first Release went live and became overall technical lead.

Was responsible for root cause analysis of failure of Production jobs, coordinating with upstream system owner and IT managers and for small enhancement project.

Project Description:

It was a small enhancement project is to process the new requests of the business users and to implement them in different subject databases like accounts, references, credit and risk, payments. The data is being loaded from the different feeder files, which comes from Mainframe environment. Credit Suisse has 900 feeder files processed on daily basis. Each feeder file contains high volume of data, so the load should take the optimum time which is also a major goal for cognizant in this project
