Managed the upgrade of the AKDS (Automated Key Distribution System) to generate and transport enhanced Master Encryption Keys (MEK) between Diebold/NCR ATMs and the Host Attalla security modules.

Converted the Application Interface Layer for Interac (known as IMNSC for SCD) by performing the following in:
oDeveloped and implemented the necessary security command changes, in-house, between Base24 and the Attalla HSM (Host Security Module) to accommodate the new key lengths and encryption algorithms.
oMigrated KEKs (Key Encryption Keys) to double length, which are used to encrypt PIN Encryption Keys (which are used to encrypt PINs) on the Interac network
oMigrated KMAC (Message Authentication Code Key) to double length.
oAltered the code to be able to process Interac transactions that have been encrypted using both single and double length keys (i.e. have been encrypted using either single DES or Triple DES).

Directed the technological migration for home hardware online transaction authorization from Wells Fargo to First Data.
