The Radisson Blu Waterfront, June-December 2016

Kitchen -

I spent time in the starter hot and pastry section which was a great experience as each day brought a new challenge and it was always busy. Loved the feeling I got when finding out your guest was happy with your dish it was great.

Room Service -

Here I spent time taking food to guests and setting up the trolley. Learned how to use limited space and that is important to keep food warm. And that a short conversation can make your day.

Banqueting -

Here I learned that there are people who appreciate it when you go the extra mile for them. To always put a smile on your face, have a good appearance, and be fast on your feet. The most important one is to pay attention to detail to the little and big that they are both important.

Waitress-

I enjoyed the breakfast service because I enjoy seeing the guests before they had their morning coffee and seeing how they face brightening when they have taken the first sip. Learned that when you service your guest their food and the faster you clear when your guest is done eating the happier your guest is.

Hostess-

Here I learned that it is important to know your guests especially the regular ones. And to be quick as guests don't like to wait long at the entrance of the restaurant. That a guest is like an egg, handle them with care.
