1. Working as MEP-Senior Q.S in AE-ARMA-Elektropanc, Dubai from DEC 2015 to till date Responsibilities:

Responsible for the financial administration of the contract and for checking the contractor’s payment applications and verifying the amounts claimed by the contractor/subcontractor against agreed measurement records and suppliers invoices.

Take care of the financial and contractual aspects of the project.

Provide support on all financial and contractual matters throughout the course of the work in the project.

Make sure that all cost and quantity records are streamlined and kept in order by the QSs.

Finalize the Contractors monthly payment certificates with the assistance of the QSs.

Advise on measurement procedures and calculation of interim and final quantities.

Evaluate the unit rates for new work items with assistance by the QSs.

Establish the way of recording the details and monitor the day works recording and process;

Provided advice on methods of measurement found in the contract in order to give a fair opportunity for all the concerned parties and to ensure the contractor is accurately paid for actual work done in accordance with the method of measurement stated in the contract.

Provide and maintain all backup documentation required for substations of claims / invoices.

Schedule work load in an efficient and organized manner to ensure contractor’s payments are processed within the time stipulated in the contract.

Reade and understand the contents and details of the bill of quantities for each project as well as the preamble to the bill of quantities, and any other documents relating to payments to the contractor.

Discuss and attempt to reach mutual agreement with the contractor on rates for new work items that are not covered in the Bill of Quantities. Submit rates to the Employer for approval.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of Bill of Quantities

Quantification of Variations as per revised drawings / specification and follow-up with Main Contracts / Project Managers for Site Work Instruction. (SWI) Scheduling & Monitoring the Progress of the works, delays & disruption of the Project and Preparation of Claims for delays & Time Extension and associated costs.
