Duties and Responsibilities:-
•Led a project to replace artificial color and anti-oxidants with natural substitutes which had the benefit of lower health effects and lower environmental impact.
•Successfully gathered information and studied to prepare review of literature which was further discussed with client to develop a plan of action.
•Obtain natural anti-oxidants and natural colors from client to perform testing.
•Prepare and standardize the recipe of the product to be tested with GMP & GLP considering the HACCP.
•Performed storage studies at ambient temperature, by evaluating the textural changes, sensorial changes (9 scale hedonic test) and chemical changes in the products.
•Performed shelf life studies for 6 months and studied the changes in the product in line with AOAC methods.
•Interacted with the clients over several meeting regarding the specification of the products and test to be performed.
•Responsible for updating about the progress of the project to the client.
•Prepare monthly progress report of the studies carried out and discuss the further action plan.
•Ensure the needs and expectation of the client are met.
•Prepare the final report and present it to the client having met all their expectations.
•Prepared research paper and poster presented the paper.
