Job Description:

Working at various positions of HSE (HSE- HSEQ) Following up all (HSE - HSEQ - QC/QA

& Auditing) activities Ensure Compliance with legal requirements of Safety rules and regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities Activities:

1- Interface with site supervisors on a daily basis to provide proactive technical advice for field activities.

2- Delegate responsibilities to Junior Safety Officers and Safety Assistants to provide an effective safety monitoring and supervisor support program.

3- Verify safety precautions stipulated on permits to work, risk assessments and job safety analysis are being implemented.

4- Verify third party certification for loose lifting gear, pressure vessels, electrical equipment etc, is correctly color coded and being used properly.

Lead safety-related teams including the Site Safety Committee, the Emergency Evacuation Team, and the First Aid Team.

Plan and lead Fire Drills for all Sites and Corporate Offices.

Prepare EHS Training plan based on gap analysis, legal, individual and site requirement.

Implementation of all EHS rules and regulations as required and planned. Maintain communication with all team members addressing safety procedures, EHS Alerts, status of corrective actions and all pertinent EHS information to reduce or eliminate occupational illness and injuries, accidents and financial losses.

Manage the company hazard communication program including maintaining the MSDS sheets on chemicals used in the facility.

Review and approve new commodities and chemicals being used at facility. Maintain all required EHS documentation like - reports, work to improve safety metrics that are both proactive (such as number of Hazard IDs, or Closed Safety Items) and reactive (such as near-misses, accidents, and lost-time incident rates); report any trends and recommendations to management.

Evaluate EHS program using established goals. Maintain records, reports, and documents required to meet corporate and regulatory requirements.

Monitor and take corrective action to ensure EHS performance as per the plan.

Communicate with the Line Mangers to discuss overall EHS performance & improvement of full strategic plan.

Develop implement and maintain Management systems in compliance to International standards such as ISO 14001environmental management system & OSHAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

Develop and implement workplace monitoring programs for chemical, physical and biological hazards.

Conduct workplace industrial hygiene evaluations write reports and make recommendations as required.
