Job Description
Provides relevant input concerning recruitment activities assigned area, which may be necessary in the preparation and implementation of the annual departmental budget.
Utilizes assigned company resources in accordance to company policies and procedures to ensure that section expenses are within approved department budget.
Utilizes relevant system/s according to standard procedures to ensure efficient and effective management of the same
Prepares and delivers applicants information sheets and examination and paraphernalia and reports to management regarding the results and apply new policies and practices as recommended for change.
Assesses training and development needs of CFM and conducts a variety of structured training and development programs to improve overall performance, guest satisfaction and safety.
Maintains core functions such as keeping the approved applicant Database (GapPool), CFM shore upgrading trainings, applicant screening and relations and relations, policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
Maintains up-to-date job descriptions and job evaluations.
Ensures accurate records of approved applicants and record transactions and maintained, (i.e., hires, formal training, valid documents, and background reviews).
Full accountability for the execution and delivery of the New Hire Welcome and Orientation Programs for all new shipboard employees joining the company. Programs must be delivered within the company’s guidelines.
May assign CFM (on vacation) for the HR programs for the organization.
Attends meetings, training activities, courses and all other work-related activities as required for the position.
Assist Fleet Manager/s in managing the Human Resources activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources.
Regularly communicates ((written and verbal) current, complete, accurate and relevant information to concerned individuals.
