“Green concrete” in BE
In this investigation a study is carried on Fly ash and GGBS as cement replacement, waste tile aggregate as coarse aggregate replacement in 0%, 10%, 20% and 30% and waste rubber tyres as fine aggregate material in concrete. The cement is replaced with fly ash in percentage 30% and also cement is replaced with GGBS in percentage 40%. Waste rubber tyres were used as replacement for fine aggregates with percentage 6%. From the results, it is observed that strength is expected to be increased as equal to conventional concrete with higher ages of curing.
“Analysis of Diagrid Structure using ETABS” in M.Tech Here, the analysis is carried out by response spectrum method using ETABS software for an L –shape plan of 10 storey, 15 storey and 20storey. Diagrid buildings are examined for different diagonal angles
(i.e. 30degree, 45degree, 60 degree and 75 degree) under zone IV. All the plan have same dimension of 32m X 32m. Parameters like base shear, lateral force, storey drift, storey displacement and time period is compared to know the response between the conventional structure and diagrid structure. By con- sidering the obtained results, the diagrid structure with diagonal angle 60 degree is the optimal angle for 10 storey and 15 storey structure, diagrid structure with diagonal angle 45 degree is the optimal an- gle for 20 storey structure.
