Gained expertise and implemented SAP-PP, SAP-PM, Management Information System (MIS) report generation in line with performance criteria of management, to create daily, weekly, and monthly reports. Thereby enhanced the understanding of the smooth and cost-e ective running of the power plant.

Implemented various safety standards and best practices concerning workplace safety and process safety

Acquired the knowledge of turbine Major Overhauling, by visiting Turbo engineering Services (TES) and Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) Hyderabad.

Supervised and lead 3x32MW EPC Project with 4x175TPH Thermax CFBC Boilers and 3x32MW BHEL TG sets (Double controlled extraction with condenser)

Managed a team up to 40 people; built their competencies to handle shift operations independently.

Skilled and adept in running the coal power plant in adverse situations - i.e. using 10 conveying belts, stacker, and reclaimer while working with contractual laborers without any operator.

Erection and commissioning of coal handling plant with the coal capacity of 1 x 200 TPH with THERMAX team.

Grasim Cellulosic Division, China -BJFCL Power plant, Deputy Manager 2006 - 2012

Innovated an idea for drying very high moisture coal by using a hot boiler bed drain mixed with coal in the rainy season, thus removing the need of stopping the power plant and process plants in an adverse situation.

Worked on saving initial cost and minimizing break down of system by commissioning a crusher which eliminated the use of vibrating screen this further ensured smooth operation of the coal plant.

Erection and commissioning of soft water system thereby eliminating the need for intermittent regener- ation thus saving water by 5%.

Erection and commissioning of 1x15MW Project with 2x75TPH CFBC Boilers and 15MW back pressure turbine

Worked on operation and maintenance of 25TPH (3 CFBC Boilers) and prepared MIS reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to provide transparency to higher management.

Finalized and handled Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for Coal handling operations etc. Grasim Industries Limited Nagda - Power plant, Assistant Manager 2002-2006

Supervised the erection and commissioning of Mechanised Coal Handling Plant (MCHP), thereby remov- ing the need of Manual coal unloading by truck. Thus increasing the safety of coal plant and subsequently reducing the running cost.

Decommissioned the Pressure Reducing Desuperheating Station (PRDS) and replaced it with Topping Turbine (2.8 MW) while recovering the project cost in the span of 1.5 years.

Involved in installation of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) in equipment’s such as DM Water pump, Boiler PA pump etc. that helped in power saving

Grasim Industries Limited Nagda - Power plant, Engineer / Sr. Engineer 1994-2002

Oversaw the day to day operations of di erent types of Boilers such as Atmospheric Fluidised Bed Combustion (AFBC) and Pulverised Fuel (PF) and looked after various Turbine like Condensing Turbine

(25MW and 40 MW) and Extraction-cum-Back pressure Turbine (16.5 MW)
