Launched Drexel’s coverage of Regional and Community bank equity research and initiated sell-side research coverage on 16 commercial banks headquartered in the GulfSouth and Northeast regions of the United States.

Responsible for developing presenting bank participation list for Drexel Hamilton’s first ever Bank Conference that took place in March 2015 in Miami Beach, Florida.

Apr/13 – Nov/13 MLV & CO. - Senior Equity Analyst – Commercial Banks

Launched MLV’s coverage of commercial bank equity research and initiated sell-side research coverage on five commercial banks headquartered in the GulfSouth region of the US.

While at MLV, the company participated in its first capital raise in the commercial bank space via a co-manager role in a $55 million senior note offering by a Pennsylvania bank.

Jun/05 – Feb/13 STIFEL NICOLAUS - Senior Equity Analyst – SE/SW Commercial Banks

Senior equity analyst responsible for coverage and valuation of ~20 regional and community banks with market capitalizations ranging from $200 million to $4 billion domiciled in the Southeast and Southwest of the United States.

Research universe coverage included IBKC, BOKF, PB, OZRK, HBHC, FHN and SNV among others.

Was named World’s # 1 Earnings Estimator in the Commercial Bank Space by Starmine/Financial Times in 2010.

Developed and formulated investment thesis on individual stocks and the regional bank space generating Buy/Hold/Sell recommendations that were targeted to institutional investment clients.

Working with a senior equity analyst, responsible for sell-side coverage of US regional banks and thrifts (17 companies under coverage) with market capitalizations ranging from $500 million to $12 billion.

Primary activities included the writing and publishing of company specific reports on a quarterly basis along with the associated creation and maintenance of earnings models for our coverage universe as well as preparing initiation reports.

Also assisted in creating and publishing topical industry notes on relevant topics and trends in the sector as well as on specific companies.
